Compassionate Listening Is An Important Factor In Any Relationship

When you love someone, we all know that you have to take the time to listen to this person’s needs. Whether you are in a romantic relationship or not, listening is essential to form a strong connection with anyone. We have all learned how to listen, but have we ever actually practiced compassionate listening?

You Have To Fulfill Each Element For Compassionate Listening To Happen

So, how is compassionate listening different? Well, for one, it is required when our partner, or any person close to us, unload most of the heavy feelings he or she is keeping. When you are in this situation, make sure to do the following:

1. Listen Attentively

Even if you already have a solution to your partner’s problem, make sure that you do not blurt it out as he or she is talking. Allow your partner to express everything. All you have to do in this situation is listen actively, nod a few times, and maintain eye contact.

2. Be Patient

There may be times when your partner does not know how to express her or himself. Its best not to put words into their mouth. Just wait for them to respond. Be patient, and allow the person to gather his or her own thoughts.

3. Reflective Responses

It’s always comforting to hear that your loved one understands exactly how you are feeling. To let your partner know that you do understand, say reflective phrases like, “I know how painful it is” or “I can see that you’re having a tough time.”

When you practice compassionate listening, your partner will feel like he or she will always have an ally in you. Your connection will deepen, and it’s more likely that he or she will practice compassionate listening when you are the one in need. For more reviews and tips, read other posts on the blog.

Solutions To The Most Common App Dating Problems

One of the best and quickest ways to meet new people nowadays is through a dating app. However, it doesn’t come without problems. Just like any other dating means, like meeting people on a site or in real life, you also have to hurdle through common app dating problems.

No Need To Worry About The Usual App Dating Problems Anymore

Any problem – whether big or small – always has a solution. But, most of us are so focused on the problem that we can’t really see that the solution is right in front of us. If this sounds like you, then here are some answers to your common app dating problems:

No Luck With Dating Apps

Everyone has probably experienced this problem. It’s very vague, but one of the main reasons why you may not be getting a lot of matches is your dating profile. Update it, use recent photos (of course they have to be flattering), and don’t forget to say something witty on your bio. On top of this, don’t just stick to talking to people on the app. When you meet someone you’re interested in, ask them out on a date.

You’re Not Sure If Someone Likes You

Because most of the communication is digital, you’ll have a hard time seeing the other person’s body language. So, the next best thing that you can do is observe how they interact with you. For example, does our online date seem enthusiastic about talking to you? Or does he or she disappear for a number of days without even letting you know what’s happening?

You Meet All The Wrong People

If all of the people you meet on the dating app you’re on are not right for you, it is time to put up a filter. Go back to the essentials. Ask yourself why you’re dating and who you want to meet.

That’s it! Yes, the solutions are practical which can hopefully make you realize that there’s a practical solution to app dating problems that you may encounter in the near future. Focus on the solution, and make sure that you take a step back to see the bigger picture. For more dating tips, read other posts on the blog.
