The Western Man’s Playbook to a Ukrainian Woman’s Heart

A lot of western men travel far and wide to reach this land in which goddesses dwell. Ukrainian women have always been known for their beauty and their amazing personas that make them the ideal women to marry for a lot of men. But seeing as these lovelies come from a completely different cultures than westerners are used to, it would mean a great deal to have certain qualities and attitudes in order to win a Ukrainian woman’s heart. Here is the basic playbook on how to get started on your journey to win a Ukrainian woman over.

Suit Up!

Remember Barney Stinson? Whenever he tries to get Ted Mosby to go out and find dates, his first instruction will always be to “Suit up!” This rings very true for Ukrainian women. These women love a man that is dressed to the nines. Ukrainian culture puts much value in how one carries himself and one way to up your confidence is to dress to impress. Ukrainian women love dressing up and they expect the same from a man who would want to be with them. Heed the word of the wise: “Suit up!”

Be a Man

Okay, not that you aren’t a man, what this phrase means is to amp up the masculinity. Let that sexy and confident man within shine through. A Ukrainian woman responds best to a man who exudes an air of masculinity and confidence. And to add the cherry on top, act the perfect gentleman whenever with her. Open doors for her, take her coat, seat her when you take her out to dinner. Be protective of her and show everyone in the room that she is yours and that they should back off. Learn how to be the prince charming she only knows from fairytales, and in the end, she gets to be your princess.

A Woman Always Loves a Man Who Can Make Her Laugh

Okay, this is given. The universal way to get a woman’s interest is to make her laugh. But then again, not everybody is gifted with a sense of humor of a comedian. So, how to deal? The best advice for making a Ukrainian woman laugh is just to be yourself and allow yourself to have fun. This way, you will be creating an atmosphere that is light and fun, which in turn should help you segue into some jokes. The internet is full of nice clean jokes that you can use, but remember, 90 percent of the joke depends on the delivery. Relax, it will be easier to make her laugh if you don’t try too hard.

Respect, one of the most important points of this playbook. Ukrainian women tend to be feminine and flirty when you meet them but you will have to remember that these ladies have a far more conservative culture than what you are used to in the west. Plus, with the way the sex industry in Ukraine goes, you will be able to score big points if you treat your lady like a queen. She will see that it is her you are interested in and not just getting her to bed. Remember, if you want to keep your Ukrainian princess and make her your queen, then this should be one of the building blocks of the relationship. Respect.

Dos and Don’ts on a First Date with a Polish Girl

Polish Girls - What to do on first datesIf you are after the type of girl who is pleasant, sweet and caring, amongst ladies of the Eastern European nations, the Polish girl is the perfect fit for you.  They also rank among the highest when it comes to beauty and relationship values. These girls are known to be loyal, nurturing and family oriented.  In a nut shell, these are the type of girls you bring home to mama and if you are lucky enough to get one to say yes to a date, then here are a few tips in order for the first date to go off without a hitch.

When visiting her for the first time, bring small gifts or tokens for her and for the household.

Of course it is expected that on the first day you pick her up from her home. And Polish customs dictates that it is rude to visit a home without a small token of appreciation to your host you graciously receives you into their abode. These tokens need not be majorly expensive. A nice bottle of wine for her parents and a lovely box of chocolates and flowers for the lady ought to do the trick. Remember, you are trying to make a good impression, so this is something nice to start the date with. One quick side note: Make sure the flowers you get the lady is odd numbered and avoid giving out chrysanthemums. Stick with the classic roses, you can never go wrong.

Match her speaking pace. Don’t speak too fast or too slow.

Though Polish girls are known to be well educated, some of these ladies may not be as good in English as you would expect them to be. Polish and English are indeed as different as night and day. For one, these ladies, more often than not, have very thick accents that might prove difficult to understand. Another possible challenge is when she finds you patronizing for speaking too slowly. The best way to manage this is to match her speaking pace. If you gauge her to be more fluent than most, then you can adjust your pace to your more normal speed but if she is one who is still learning the ropes, assist her by speaking slowly and using the simplest words possible.

A Polish girl may mostly be catholic. Don’t expect intimacy on the first date.

Unless you are trying to pass yourself off as a sex tourist, by all means, pull some moves on her. But if you’re serious with being with this Polish girl, take in to deep consideration that Poland is largely a catholic nation and that values regarding sex may be a bit more stringent than most. But then again, each lady is unique. The best way to handle this is mainly to play it by ear.

Try not to mention sex or make any sexually charged moves if your lady friend seems to be the conservative one. Although, if you happen to catch a more liberated and open minded girl, take the cues from her. Just let the lady lead the way for this one, that way you earn points for being considerate of her values.

Basic Russian Dating Etiquette for the Foreign Man

Know the Basics of Russian DatingEtiquette is conventionally defined as the customary code of polite behavior in society or among members of a particular profession or group. Each country and society will always have a set of etiquette to be followed according to customs and traditions and the general acceptance of society. With this, if you have your heart set on finding and keeping a Russian beauty as your bride, it will be good for you to study a bit of the Russian culture. Here is a quick crash course on the basic etiquette for Russian dating.

The Elusive Smile

Russia is one of the cultures that don’t encourage smiling at people you don’t know.  Smiles are often reserved for acquaintances and friends simply because their culture does not equate politeness with smiling. Not like in the west that service will always (ideally) be given with a smile, in Russia, not unless you and your server have been formerly introduced. When in Russia, avoid smiling at people you don’t know and most especially, wait to be introduced to her family before smiling at them. Russians tend to translate a smile from a stranger as being made fun of. To avoid offending her family upon picking her up the first time, please avoid smiling at them prior to introduction.

Gifts, Trinkets and Tokens

As with most Eastern European nations, visiting a home empty handed is considered rude and of bad manners. Etiquette dictates that, especially if you are visiting her home the first time, you bring with you gifts, or small tokens for your receiving host/hostess. A fine bottle of wine and a nice cake to go with it would suffice. But of course, never forget the odd numbered flowers for your date. And also, keep in mind that every time you visit your lady friend’s home, you will need to bring something. Better do your research so you can bring a certain type of food everyone in the household likes.

Spending the Night

Even with a serious dating relationship, it is still frowned upon for a man to spend the night with a woman whom he is not engaged to yet. Once in a while, let’s say you get caught in a storm after seeing her home, then, yes, it may be overlooked. But definitely, if you truly respect her and her culture, you would make it a point to have your own place of lodging.

The Man Pays

In Russian dating, the gender roles are still very conventional where the man pays for the dinner, the movie and basically everything on the date. Even if your beautiful date offers to pay half, you should decline as etiquette dictates you should shoulder the bill. On a quick side note, there will be ladies who don’t even have their wallets with them on dates. So just make sure that you can cover all expenses. Eventually, once the relationship progresses to a more serious one, you and your lady will be able to discuss matters of finances and the like. But whilst on the early dating stages, prepare yourself, and your wallet.

The Lady Decides when to be Intimate

In the west, there is what we call a “third-date rule”. No such thing exists in Russian dating. Here, intimacy is played by ear and is most especially dictated by the readiness of your lady. She will need time to warm up to you and to gauge how serious you are with her. Be patient. She probably has had her own run of being dated by a sex tourist at one point, or, if not her, some close friend or relative. Be a gentleman. In a society with rigid gender roles, men are expected to be gentlemen. If you want to make sure you keep your Russian lady, you will have to surpass the performance of the males around her.
